Just a few funny things...

I have to write these things down so I remember them in the future....

Me: "Ryan, you need to get your shoes on"

Ryan...not getting shoes on

Me (about 2 minutes later): "Ryan, we are leaving, why don't you have your shoes on?"

Ryan: "It's a long story...ok I'll get them on"

Really? In the two minutes that went by there was a "long story"that went on keeping him from getting his shoes on?

There has been a stray dog that wanders into our yard every so often. The boys are dying to have a dog, but their mean mom does not want one (nope, don't love dogs at all). The boys named it Coco. Today it was back in the yard and they came running to show me it.

Caleb (5): "Mom, can we pleeeeeaaassseee keep it??"

Me: "No, sorry"

Caleb: "Pleeeeaaaase? I'll take care of it's poo"

Any kid who says they will take care of  poo cannot be trusted.
