Someone is getting old!

Scott turned 40...yes the big 4-0! Here's a few things I love about Scott...He always puts other people first. He is a fabulous doctor and his patients love him. He is ambitious, responsible, and of course works harder than anyone I know. He takes great care of himself. He is almost always in a good mood. He loves his family (including extended family). He has great respect for his parents. He is kind. He is intelligent and funny. He can fix anything or figure anything out. He loves the outdoors. He thinks before he reacts. He gives people the benefit of the doubt. He is one of a kind! I love you!

Here are a few photos (just a few) of this hunky old man!

Another beautiful creation by me. I know, I know, I should sell these beauties at a bakery...
My brother-in-law Rob has some connections in the banner business. We had to put a spotlight on it because of course Scott didn't get home from work until after dark on his birthday!

Quite GQ don't you think?
This is how Scott rolls...one kid on his shoulders and one on his back
Or sometimes, one kid in front and one behind.
He fits right in with the kids!

Picture above from his 20 year high school reunion (sorry about the blur)
Scott's usual attire...accessorized by a lovely black pager.

Like a friend said... he has the body of a 20 year old.
Graduation from Cardiology Fellowship...
Scott's good friend and fellow Cardiologist (Steve Minor)...note: Scott did not give him that black eye
As I said before, this is how Scott gets around
Sporting a little scruff
This is how Scott feels about turning 40.

Dear Blogger,

Ever wonder what other bloggers are thinking? Curious about how your thoughts compare to other bloggers' views on topics like politics, parenting, and prestige?

I'm writing from Blogging Common, a research project at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society and Harvard University. We'd like to ask you to help us by joining a panel of active bloggers. Your involvement in this panel will help us answer important questions about the practices and opinions of bloggers around the globe.

What's in it for you? First access to our results, so you can see how you stack up to bloggers around the world. You'll also have the satisfaction of knowing you're part of an awesome research project at Harvard.

It takes ten minutes to answer our first set of questions. With your permission, we'll send you new short surveys on different topics several times over the next year. We promise not to share your personal information with anyone, and we'll do our best to make this exciting. To complete the survey, please visit the following link:
