Christmas cards....

Thanksgiving 2016

We had Thanksgiving over at Brit's new house this year
for the Briner side. We missed our brothers Nate and Scott!

We all look like shorties next to Brit! She's about 5" taller
than the rest of us (8" taller than mom).

Cutie Caleb made this turkey.

Halloween 2016!

The traditional school Halloween costume parade...so many
creative costumes! Ryan thought he'd create one too. Still
not sure what he was...camo skin suit with sunglasses?
I just buy what they pick out :)
Caleb joined Ryan in the homemade costume idea. He was
a taco. He said the big yellow glasses made him a nerdy taco.
(Like I said, I just buy them what they pick out)

Here's a close up of those interesting costumes
Ethan and his friends just dressed up as cool guys. Ha!
(Noah, Ethan, Max, and Eli)
Ireland was a Harry Potter character. She had
no clue which one, but she looked cute!

On Halloween night we went over to our
neighbors for our traditional soup party.
This year we had about 150 trick or treaters...
We've had up to 300 in years past, so this year
was a bit slower (school night and a bit cold).

Our nephew Matt leaves on his mission!

Scott's sister Sara's boy, Matt, left today on
a mission to Mexico. His farewell was
Sunday and he did a great job! He is such
a cute kid and we love him to pieces!
It'll be fun to see how much my boys will have
grown by the time Matt is back in 2 years.
Savannah, Matt, and Ireland
Ethan, Matt, and Ireland
We will miss him!

Football Semi-Finals

Ethan's team (Lone Peak 8th grade A team) played in
the semi-finals on Saturday. Unfortunately they lost :(
They played their hearts out and endured the terrible refs
and cheap shots delivered by the opposing team.
Ethan is the center...#65

Fall Break...Disneyland!

We decided to go to Disneyland over fall break...
we had a blast but we are definitely
not crazy Disneyland fans.
We were all exhausted by noon so we'd take a few hours
in the afternoon to eat, swim and relax. Then we'd hit the
fast passes in the later afternoon/evening and
were done by dinnertime. We didn't wait more
than 30 minutes for any ride thanks to the
Disneyland ride app and fast passes.
We decided to fly this time and avoid the 10 hour drive.
We flew in to the Long Beach tiny airport.
Much better than LAX!
Can you tell they are not into waiting in lines?
I think this was at the airport on our way
back to Utah. No more waiting for Caleb!
Waiting for the Indiana Jones ride.

Got to have a picture with Tigger...

It was 97 degrees on the first day that we were there. Hot!
Taking a break at Disney City Hall
The kids all loved California Adventure Park better than
Disneyland Park. After a hot day, the evening was fabulous!
Paradise Pier

We all went on California Screamer a few times
and did Toy Story Mania too...Ethan was the
high scorer by leaps and bounds.

Toy Story Mania! Love this ride!

Think Caleb is getting sick of pictures?

Apparently Ryan was sick of pictures too...

Hollywood Studios

Autotopia. Not sure why we do this ride...it's so boring, but
the line was short (wonder why?)
Ryan was the driver in our car. Big mistake!
I'm glad he has several more years until he drives.
He needs a lot of practice!
Caleb and Scott...we crashed into Ireland (below) while
trying to take a picture of Caleb and Scott. Oops..

Super happy boys about to eat! I think they like the food there
as much as the rides.

We went to Downtown Disney a few times.
This is at the Lego store. Amazing lego creations!
Love all those palm trees!

We did an animation class one night that was so cool.
We learned how to draw Pooh Bear.
We've always loved the Aladdin play at Disney and were sad
that it's not there anymore but loved the "Frozen" play.
We were perplexed at why they chose an African American
to play the main character Anya...little weird??
Shuttle ride back to the Airport. It was a great fall break.
